From a Transformed Life to a Transforming Ministry
When Muwanika Muhamedi gave his life to Christ, he didn't just receive salvation — he received a calling. Almost immediately after his conversion, he felt a deep conviction to share the Gospel with others, especially those from his former Muslim background who had not yet encountered the love of Jesus.
The Call to Preach
After I got saved I had an insatiable hunger for the Word of God. I would spend hours reading the Bible praying and worshipping. And the more I grew in my faith the more I felt God speaking to my heart: Go and tell them what I have done for you.
Muhamedi began preaching in small gatherings, sharing his testimony with anyone who would listen. His message was simple but powerful: Jesus Christ saves, heals, and transforms. His authentic story and passionate delivery quickly drew attention, and doors began to open for him to minister in churches, fellowships, and outreach events.
Preaching with Power and Compassion
What sets Muhamedi apart as a preacher is his deep compassion for the lost and his unwavering commitment to biblical truth. Having experienced both religious formalism and the liberating power of the Gospel, he preaches with an urgency and sincerity that moves hearts.
I know what it feels like to be without hope. I know what it feels like to follow religious rituals without knowing the God behind them. That is why I preach — so that others may know the truth that sets them free.
Connecting with Muslims and Seekers
One of Muhamedi's most impactful ministries has been reaching out to Muslims and seekers who are curious about Christianity. His background gives him a unique ability to relate to their questions, struggles, and cultural perspectives. He engages in respectful dialogue, addressing misconceptions about Christianity while demonstrating the love of Christ in practical ways.
Through radio programs, community outreaches, and one-on-one discipleship, Muhamedi has led many souls to Christ. His approach is marked by patience, wisdom, and genuine love for those he ministers to.
Rising in Leadership
Recognizing his gifts and dedication, the leadership of SET MINISTRY entrusted Muhamedi with greater responsibilities. He now serves as Church Chief of Staff, overseeing administrative operations while continuing to preach and teach the Word of God.
I never imagined that God would use me in this way. I was a former Muslim and now I am standing in pulpits preaching the Gospel. This is not about me — it is about the power of God to transform anyone who surrenders to Him.
A Message of Hope
Muhamedi's journey from Islam to Christianity and into ministry is a powerful reminder that God's call transcends religious backgrounds, cultures, and histories. His life declares that no one is too far gone for the grace of God, and that every believer has a unique role to play in the Great Commission.
